AMPiary UCSC iGEM 2026

Our team’s project: a system for rapidly designing and validating new antimicrobial peptides as potential therapeutics for Lyme disease and other infections.

revAMP genetic algorithm + ML

A genetic algorithm, built in Nextflow, that evolves populations of peptide sequences. A neural network predicts each candidate’s bacteria-killing activity and its toxicity to red blood cells, and the strongest, safest sequences carry forward to the lab.
